The Association of Energy Engineers (AEE) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit professional society of over 16,000 members in 89 countries. The mission of AEE is “to promote the scientific and educational interests of those engaged in the energy industry and to foster action for Sustainable Development.”
The AEE is your source for information and networking in the dynamic fields of energy engineering and energy management, renewable and alternative energy, power generation, energy services, sustainability, and all related areas. Founded in 2013, AEE North Carolina Piedmont Chapter (AEE-NCPC) is the local chapter of the national Associates of Energy Engineers (AEE), covering the western part of North Carolina.
The Chapter presents education programs related to the energy industry, provides networking opportunities between a wide variety of industries, including building and associate industry professionals, educators, lawmakers, and the community, fosters cooperative action between its members and other industries and organizations, and supports scholarships.
